Kat is a qualified architect, after successfully passing the Part 3 professional examination in 2022. Having previously worked in Western Isles and studied at University of Dundee, Kat joined AMCA Architects in 2019.
During her career Kat has been working on broad range of projects, for private and public clients. Kat has a responsibility for liaising with clients, public bodies and other consultants, while delivering high quality designs. Kat is experienced in developing Co-op Stage 1 feasibility studies, Shell requirements plans, Asset plans and undertaking role of Principal Designer.
Kat is an Associate member of Association of project safety and has responsibility for co-ordination of CDM(2015) compliance within the office. She has key interest in Health and Safety management of project and will ensure that duties and responsibilities by all relevant duty holders are monitored and reviewed.
Kat is a proud mother to two beagles, Luna and Arlo. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring Scottish nature, or trying to keep plants in her garden alive. Kat is also a keen DIY enthusiast and mystery book reader.
