Albert Road Private Dwellings
The practice was appointed by a local property developer to provide a 2 detached high quality family dwellings in Broughty Ferry. The site was located at sloping site, bounded to the north and east by a high stone wall ranging from approximately 3 metres in height to the west to 1.8m to the north and east.
The houses comprise one and a half storey dwellings, both having 4 bedrooms. The housing has been designed to a high standard of finish with natural slate roofs, Angus sandstone and silicone render wall finishes, and factory finished Scandinavian windows and doors.
Challenges were dealt with in terms of site access, by upgrading and extending an exiting track road. The project met clients expectations in terms of high quality finish and complex design solutions.
